Hello everyone! My name is Mina Mills, and this is my blog about Russian cats.

I absolutely love these little creatures and have been studying them for many years. In this blog, I’ll share everything I’ve learned about Russian cats – from their history and origins to their unique personality traits.

After spending a lot of time researching cats and all their delightful antics, I felt inspired to start a blog about Russian cats. These furry friends have an astonishing historical background, complete with centuries-old legends and special meaning within the Slavic culture. 

From tarbagan marmots to Voronezh cats, there is much to learn about our beloved animal companions. I’m particularly interested in how Russians adopted cats about two thousand years ago and how felines have become deeply ingrained in their society ever since. 

This is why I was eager to get started on my latest blogging project – bringing awareness to the unique charm of Russian cats!

I have always been a huge fan of cats and have grown especially fond of the Russian variety. My eldest cat, Vasily, is actually a Russian Blue; he’s incredibly intelligent, good-natured, and affectionate – everything a cat should be! 

Whenever I take him out for a walk to our nearby park, I’m showered with compliments from fellow pet lovers, who are usually surprised to learn that he’s not just any ordinary housecat but from Russia! 

He also has all sorts of unique habits, like being able to open cabinets if he feels like getting into them and going on about his daily adventures as if to report back to me all the fun he’s had during the day. Though my love affair with Russian cats began with one cat, in particular, I know it won’t stop there – after all, this breed is simply too lovable not to expand my family with more furball friends!

So there you have it – everything you need to know about why I started this blog and what kind of content you can expect. Russian cats are indeed the best in the world, and I hope that I can share my love for them with all of you through my blog.
